Scanner Software Install Problems?

Submitted by admin on September 22, 2009 – 4:41 amOne Comment

I am trying to install software for a HP Scan jet 5300C, and I keep getting this error message: “16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application.”
Can somebody please help me?

What are you trying to load it onto? Have you checked the makers site in support FAQ to see if there is a known problem or even an updated driver available?
